The number one problem customers encounter with traditional cleaners is the risk of lost clothes. We have implemented the most sophisticated system in the entire state to make sure this never happens again. You may not think dry cleaning is something to get excited about but you may change your mind after I show you what happens between picking up your clothes and dropping them off.
Here’s what goes on behind the scenes:
Your Personal Yellow Bag
Each sturdy yellow bag is heat sealed with a bar coded label. When the bar code is scanned it lets the system know we have it, who it belongs to and everything else we need to know to get your clothes back to you just the way you want them.
Bar Codes
When your cleaning comes in, we heat seal a tiny bar code to each individual item that tells our system what it is and to whom it belongs. It also tracks exactly what you sent in that day so orders can’t be sent out until they are complete.
Tracking Individual Pieces
After our cleaning gurus have everything clean and pressed, we scan each individual item back into the system and place it on a numbered conveyor. The system knows exactly where each individual item in your order is at all times.
Invoicing
Once the last piece of your order is scanned and placed on the conveyor, the system prints out an itemized invoice that gets attached to the last item.
Assembling Your Order
The system then automatically groups the order together, pulls it off the conveyor and packages it in protective plastic.
Completed Orders
The completed orders are then scanned again and placed on another numbered conveyor so the system now knows exactly where your completed order is at all times.
Ready For Delivery
When your delivery day comes around, the system automatically pulls your order off the conveyor and groups it with the other orders on your route in reverse stop order.
Clean, Pressed, Delivered
When the driver gets to your stop, he pulls the next pre-sorted order off the truck, and scans the order as delivered.
Our sophisticated bar coding system makes certain we know exactly where every piece of clothing you send us is at all times. We’ve taken out as many opportunities for human error as possible to ensure nothing you send us is ever lost.
